If it is the one labeled "Track" on the main menu (https://radioparadise.com/music/what-is-playing), I get a wide, single column list of what's playing now. This updates reasonably well, at least for a couple of hours before it stops.
If it is the one accessed at https://radioparadise.com/player/info/main-mix, I get a four column layout of the currently playing song. However, that list on the left side does not auto-update unless I have the player at the bottom of that page playing. I don't use that player.
RP is streaming thru the house from a different PC which plays the stream (http://stream.radioparadise.com/aac-320 or one of the other similar mix streams). I am able to capture the metadata that the stream provides and display that in my home automation local page. But I really like having passive access to a dynamic what's "playing page" for artist info, ratings, comments, etc.
Bottom line, I am hoping for a page like /player/info/main-mix where I don't have to play the player for the left column playlist to update. Until or without that, I can use the "Track" page to monitor what's playing and rate songs. After all, that's still more than what I used for many many years before the "improvements" made over the last few years. I'd just gotten used to the auto-refreshing artist info, rating, and comments page on the version previous version of RP.
I'm not sure if clicking the "Track" link takes you to the same page I was describing - that page just shows a list of songs for me. The page I got to was after I clicked the "Home" link - the Radio Paradise logo at the top-left of the page - and then select a channel. What I was calling the "Now Playing page" should open, with the song list at the left, the "now-playing" song on top with the ratings, and then the artist, lyrics, and comments columns in the next three columns to the right side. It seems to update accurately for me, regardless of whether I'm using the player or not, unless I scroll down in one of the columns. I'm not sure if that will work as desired with your set-up but it may be worth a try.
If I open the "Now Playing" screen, which shows whatever channel you are on at the upper-left, the list will update whether or not I am using the player on that page. If you scroll down in the comments, lyrics, or artist info, that will prevent the page from updating to the new song, until you scroll back to the top of the page.
There is a "2 or 4 column" toggle at the top of the page. If your browser is not showing four columns you may need to make the browser wider or set the zoom level to a number below 100%.
What is the "Now Playing" screen?

Hey, is there a way to trigger PSD when listening via the stream links? Maybe by adding query param to the URL or something?
I've been having trouble with RP on my work computer, but the stream links keep working. Which is fine for me, except that I miss the PSD.
Sometimes reducing the playback quality will work, but sometimes it doesn't.

Glad I'm not the only one with this setup @IH574! Thanks for the tip @Proclivities, and that page mostly has the functionality I'm looking for, but it only shows the current info for the Main Mix (or whatever mix is selected). What we're looking for is the ability to set the source to "Browser Tab". For many reasons the playing computer gets out of sync with the live stream (pausing, PSD, internet dropouts, changing mix, etc.) and the info screen should reflect whatever happens to be playing. Right now, the Main Mix page shows info for a song that was played two songs ago (I have no idea how my computer got two tracks *ahead* of the main mix, but these things happen).
EDIT: I notice that on the now playing page, if I hit pause (because I don't want it to actually play on my local computer), the listings don't advance, even if I don't scroll down on anything.
My speculation goes like this:
Out of fear of being sued by any Trump organ, the thread was deleted by RP management.
It contained so many insults to the US president - mainly posted by those calling themselves liberals, progressives, etc. that it would have been a real risk to not delete it. In fact, they can consider themselves quite lucky that nothing like it hasn't happened before.
In my country this would never be possible! Greetings from GER-Money!
RP'd been sued to smithereens by the federal government and their organs including contractors even in hidden writing. So you know.
Free speech is what I believe they call it in America.
The right should not be granted to certain forum members according to those here who insulted the US President most & bringing the TRUMP thread to it's end.
Do we know who started the thread? Because iirc, that person can delete the whole thread. I have speculation that I will keep to myself
That is correct, plus any website administrator.

This is same thing I am after: Four column layout that auto-updates without the player running on the page. Like @johnwys, I'd like to use that screen to keep track of what's playing with more info than the simple track listing. This screen does not update the artist, song or info unless the player on the page is running also. My Radio Paradise plays on another system.

Feature Request - bring back the 4 column layout to the "what's playing" (now "track") page.
I use another computer hooked up to speakers to play RP. On my computer, I used to load the What's Playing page set to "browser tab", and after clicking the Info button, was able to see the 4 columns of track history, lyrics, bio, and comments. Now, I can go to the track page and only see the track history, but have to manually select the current song to see details. It was nice when it kept up with the current song.

Some bug fixes and quality of life improvements pushed today.
Quick question - anyone who was having an issue with the slideshow not playing - please report in and let us know if that is still the case.
More requested updates and other miscellaneous fixes on the way soon!
Slideshow now working fine. Thanks. But where is the submissions page for uploading photos?

Seriously, that was me just now; my comments were coming in as Contaminator's. I have it set to keep me logged in, so it wasn't some typo that did that.
I logged out and back in again and it's fine but WTAF
It's okay, you can have as many IDs as you can keep track of. Just don't be a dick with them.
Just to confirm: the two users aren't on the same device or same Windows / Microsoft user account, or same Google account in Chrome, or same iCloud account on Safari, or anything like that? In cases like that, it might be that Microsoft/Google/Apple thinks you're the same person (because you share a user account) and synched cookies/localstorage between two people.
Contaminator is in Serbia. I am not. But thank you for trying in your own way to help.
