3. Trump built a temple to himself on the land complete with money spigots.
4. Trump poured the swamp water into the reflecting pool.
So too bad a certain gentleman has forgotten his "Burisma! Biden Crime Family!" vigilance and is silent on Trump's cashing in. Because Trump is rivaling the corruption found in African dictatorships.
Not surprising. But still, F these guys. I'm not usually for retaliation, but I hope to see some retaliation. For all the shed tears about how much they were the true patriots and no one cared about their (false) grievance, I think it would be fitting for them to just get back some of what they really have dished out. I'll get some earplugs to protect from the shrieking.
Anybody in law school right now is guaranteed a job in the DOJ if they want one. It'll take thousands of them to address all of the Trump cases when he's gone.
The magnitude of Trump's personal corruption and the monetizing of the presidency by him and his family have no precedent in US history.
It takes a total peasant mentality, or some weird cultish devotion, to defend or excuse this, especially if you objected to corrupt Biden transactions (as I did). It's on a completely different scale.
Trump set up a crypto company (World Liberty Financial) 4 days before his inauguration, then had the UAE pour hundreds of millions into his pockets for 49% of it, then gave rewards to the UAE. Jared getting $2 billion from the Saudis. On and on and on.

Some Crime.... sort of like the war on some drugs. Mostly low level/unconnected people will see the sharp end of the justice stick. Those with real responsibility will avoid accountability.
It is all so strange. If the coating was bonded to the concrete properly, you couldn't peel it off even if you sliced it with a knife. The algal bloom should have been expected. The treatment failure should have been expected. Needing the national guard to protect a pool in a public space is just weird. But I'm glad they are solving crime in the city. Frankly I'm surprised that the governors in whatever states they are from aren't taking a lot of heat for those poor sobs being called away from home for so long.
I did read that it isn't cyanobacteria in the bloom so at least you or your dog won't die if you drink it.

Dead ducklings today seems to indicate that cyanobacteria has now appeared.
Seems like instead of draining the Swamp, itâs filling up to that nice Kermit da Frog Green.
