AdP have re-calibrated my ears. I think it was the visuals of the KEXP preformance that kept me distracted while my brain absorbed the weird sounds. This has since made me more attuned to the microtonal occurences in other songs that I would previously have dismissed and disliked as being out of tune. Songs I've previously skipped now deserve a listen. Who would have thought that after 6 decades of consuming music I could be re-educated.
Sorry, I don't get the hype. On first listen, it’s strange, obscure and somewhat interesting. But that was about it. My prediction: In a year, it will be forgotten.
So refreshing! Thank you RP for another great discovery.

That about sums it up for me, too. Still trying to figure out if I like it, but I want to hear more from them.
These guys make me smile. They're just so mental.
This kind of needs the visuals w/ it, but is still awesome. Thanks Bill!
I unabashedly, inexplicably, love this. Not at all my normal taste but I'm way into AdP. Their music makes me want to take a lot of fun drugs and swirl around in the dark with a bunch of strangers. I hope they stay anonymous forever.
This actually reminds a bit of Sonic Youth

and that's never a bad thing
Very original and cool just like their space suits...
I knew Daft Punk'd be back!
Easy listening at it's finest
The Length says 0:00 ?  Thank goodness I don't have a headache right now.

Yes, the music is a little discomforting, but in a good way. It definitely works my synapses, too.

Sounds like the perfect name for this band and their music.

Hell, it also totally rocks! I think of it as prog rock stripped bare of all complications and pretense. And I will be seeing them soon at the Manchester Psychfest!!

who marked this a s 10!!!!!

maybe their mother listens!

like bad video game "music"
I love their artistic integrity, and I love the way they do their thing completely without regard for anything or anyone else.

But I cannot say I love their music…
Aw yeah, was wondering if RP would add ADP to the rotation. Love the build on this song!
When I listen to Angine de Poitrine, so do my neighbors!
Reminds me  a little of Focus/Wishbone Ash/Nektar...from 50 years ago.

Yes...that right. 50 years ago.  You youngins don't know what you missed out on.  These bands were only part of a mosaic of mutli-genre  bands. Everyday was a musical adventure...in concerts or on the radio, album, and cassette; in your room or car.

Hey RP: why don't ya play some Focus/Wishbone Ash/Nektar and teach these youngins a few things.

They amuse the heck out of me but I won't ever reach for it. This one's the most fun yet tho.

Glad to hear it.!!
I love that Radio Paradise is again introducing me to new music. I doubt very much the local rock stations will be playing Angine de Poitrine any time soon.
this is not a song
it is a call to battle
It is so close to being good. Soo close...
These guys rock! Maybe not (for me) the best way to start your day. What is "Math Rock"?

Not a fan, is AdP somehow related to Count Binface?

(I wouldn’t normally post a negative comment but both are topical in UKland)

Mr Nosey Bonk. look it up, he scared many kids in the 80s and 90s in the UK
They should run against Count Binface in Clacton
Terribly repetitive.  Don't want to hear this ever again
In parts this track is really quite Hawkwind-esque i thought.
Digging this on first listen. Yep, i like it!

How on earth do you classify this music? Aggressive Trance? It’s intriguing. If you haven’t seen them on video, prepare to be astonished!

Math rock.
RP seems to be picking out the songs from KEXP show.

Like others mentioned the album version of these songs don’t come through as well as their live version.  Sardineh (sic) is an exception.

Until they release a live album!

Microtonal is so refreshing. Love the way they're sticking it to the mainstream music industry and doing exactly what they want and in their own provocative way.
That intro was about a minute longer than it needed to be (too many repeats at the same playing intensity) but the rest of the tune is pretty good.
