Perfect soundtrack to a demolition derby...
Very enjoyable flash in the pan. Glad they went viral, it restored a little faith in ... something or other. ;)
Not an easy listen, but an enjoyable one.
just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Pretty cool watching them live. The guitarists layers patterns to build up the sounds. For example, he records the bass line live and then starts guitar pieces. Very cool and allows for a lot of complexity. Starting with an 8 from Napoli on the Gulf.

Every now and then, a musical UFO pops up and disrupts the dominant narrative. It’s been done many times before : Jazz, Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits… Each time, reception is initially polarized between those who can’t stand the disruption, and those who embrace the breath of fresh air. Angine de Poitrine is such a case. Only time will tell but for me, it’s a 9.
