The coldest summer
You withdrew further
And gave a little less
You took the sun away
You say you're with me
Then ghost right through me
I'll never understand
How it slipped away

All I ever dreamed of
Has fled to the stars and hides in the dark
Everyone I reached for
They tear me apart, encoding my heart
With shimmering scars

Stonewall silence
I beg for guidance
But every vow we made
Unravelled through the pain
And if you say it's nothing
Then why are your eyes still flooding?
We stamped the embers out
I carry half the blame

All I ever dreamed of
Has fled to the stars and hides in the dark
Everyone I reached for
They tear me apart, encoding my heart
With shimmering scars

Was I not enough? Was I not enough?
What still remains? I don't wanna break
Was I not enough? Was I not enough?
I can't start again, I carry half the blame
I carry half the blame

All I ever dreamed of
Has fled to the stars and hides in the dark
Everyone I reached for
They tear me apart, encoding my heart
With shimmering scars

I can't start again

They used to be excellent.
Saw them live in an old roman arena in 2002, it was powerful. Great singer.
24 years later... can't see any evolution. Sad.
2 and skip.
Painful.
This song makes my nonexistent balls itch. PSD
What happened to these guys? From bang to bubblebum.

Maybe she decided to give his good friend a try horizontally unbeknownst to him.  The song doesn't really answer that question, we project our own.
Great, more mediocre music from these guys.

Pass
Sheesh, are we trying a bit too hard? I'll give it another listen later.
I vibed with their loud, brash yearning decades ago when we were all young. And I vibe with their quieter, more complex yearning in this new song, too. Muse's sound has matured while they (and I) age. Such a beautiful human (and humanizing) experience.
Muse excelent brand new song! I'll start with a 10.
